Wowowow. A whirlwind weekend in Boston. Grrreat seeing so many good pals, including hwynym and khvastun .

A long very cold night in Rhode Island. Walking to the drugstore and back stings my face and lungs, but I feel all the more alive for it.

Spent the weekend with Rocco in Boston; did a reading Saturday night before the regular bear bar night, which some good pals came to; and I was invited to be a featured author at Fetish Fair Fleamarket at the KinkyBooks booth, but most of the bearish men attending seemed nongay and thus not particularly interested in my books. There was one handsome guy who was excited to get Bears on Bears; when I asked if the woman accompanying him was his partner, he smiled seductively and replied, “One of them.” So he really got it. Materially it was a wash. In terms of making a few connections – including donating a copy of each of my books to the Leather Archives & Museum – it was mostly worthwhile. But it wasn't a gay event, and seemed more focused on costumes and dress-up.
It did allow me to spend time with Rocco, which is always a delight, not to mention the fact that he bought me a new Utilikilt, which was a nice present after a challenging weekend.
