Workin that Googleadsthang

I just came across what I think is one of the first literary uses of the word Googleplex, in my lovely hardbound editon of Douglas Adams' Ultimate  Hitchhiker's Guide. I seem to recall knowing that I read it there many years ago, but can't be sure.

Last week I created a Google adwords program focused on Bi Men. It's been fun developing keywords and seeing what's getting hits. PLEASE NOTE: I only pay for clicks through to the Bi Men page on my Website, so please don't go around clicking on them if you already know that's my ad!

Here's the ad itself:

The Book on Bi Men
Bi Men: Coming Out Every Which Way
New! True Bisexual Men's Stories
ronsuresha.com

Here are the first weeks' results, listing keywords, impressions, and clickthroughs:

bi men 666 9
coming out 261 2
bisexual men 407 1
gay fathers 12 1
bi stories 59 0
gay married men 14 0
bi guys 13 0
gay dads 13 0
gay husbands 13 0
bi married 11 0
bi male 7 0
bi curious men 6 0
bi males 4 0
bi sexual men 4 0
bisexual books 4 0
bi married men 3 0
bi man 1 0
bi dads 0 0
bi sexual man

I've tweaked the list twice – it's easy enough to alter – some of these keywords have been up for only a day or two. If folks have suggestions for the ad or keywords, please feel free to comment here on LJ. I've set a $30 monthly spending limit, so I don't want to make it too broad.
