hiatus

Grrreetings, gentlefolks!

Although there's much to catch up on, I must make this brief, as I hope to catch up on several big tasks today.

Minneapolis and 8ICB was a terrific experience in many ways. No, I didn't get my bi card punched, as I have heard that some folks did, in a big way. Well, if you count the fact that Pete and I led a workshop on “Bi Bears” that gathered a terrific group of ten guys who shared their stories and questions. And that Pete and I met with the most eminent Dr Fritz Klein to plan for our book on Bi Men coming out next year from Haworth. So those things count, don't they?

I was getting plenty busy, though, with Rocco. Because it seems we spend so much time apart (he lives an hour's drive away in the lovely city of New London CT), I really focused on being available to him – sexually and in every other way – especially considering that we are doing much planning of our future together. So there are some big changes ahead in both our lives, including our agreement that if the only state we can marry is Massachusetts, that's where we'll both move within the year if I can find health insurance comparable to the BCBS HealthMate C2C plan I have through small-business insurance (Good Neighbor Alliance). Anybody got info on that?

Of course, since only two years ago I was paying newly reassessed Massachusetts property taxes, I feel I already have the right to claim residency. But obviously there's much more involved that I can't unpack here yet. I'll try to take a few more minutes tomorrow.
